Okay, so after three days of watering, there have been some things happening. I’ll list my observations:

1 The only action are happening in some of the positive pots, and some of the negative pots. The control pots aren’t showing anything;

2 I suspect my full bag of soil is contaminated by fungus spores because I’ve seen them appearing countless times. The fungus don’t harm the seeds/plants (not that I’ve experienced, anyway), so I’m just noting that down;

3 I have certain conjectures about the sprouted seeds in the negative pots, but I think I shall reserve them for when the plants grow larger and grow true leaves.

For now, I’ll show some pictures:

Positive pots

Catnip

Nothing happening yet.

Cinammon basil

Starting to show signs of germination – not sure what that coating of gelatinous substance is (I always see them when I wet basil seeds).

Local lettuce

Both seeds have sprouted.

==========

Negative pots

Catnip

Also nothing (strange, because when I passed the catnip seeds to my brother last week, all germinated quickly).

Cinammon basil

Small one sprouted by the side.

Local lettuce

Both sprouted (again, reserving guesswork till later)

==========

Control pots

No movement.

I finally got my ass to programming two separate clear quartz crystals.

The first one was programmed with positive intentions. I spoke aloud to it things like, “I intent for you to charge the water which will be used to water the seeds, and allow them to grow strongly and healthily. The plants will have healthy root systems and good leaves.” And stuff like that. I visualized pink for healing, green for growth, and gold for vitality into the crystal.

The second crystal was programmed with negative intention. I also spoke aloud to it, with things like, “You will charge the water and will give stunted growth to the seeds and plants.”

The third bottle of water is for control.

I bought three same types of bottled water.

I finally chose cinammon basil seeds, local lettuce seeds, and catnip seeds. Two seeds were placed into each pot.

Each pot was watered with the bottle cap once.

All nine pots are placed at the same location – the ledge right beside my bed. That area gets the morning sun every day.

Now, let’s see how this experiment goes.

—

The aim of this experiment is twofold:

1. To see if crystals really store and emit/reinforce intentions;

2. To see if intentions really affect living things and the world around us (credit to ‘Seth’ by Seth and ‘The Intention Experiment’ by Lynne McTaggart).

For the first time, I’m probably going to link my spirituality with growing plants.

Okay, let me give some background information: I have been a practicing shamanist for about four years. I work with nature spirits and energy, and animal totems, spirits and energy. I also believe in the power of intent, and also the Seth teachings of ‘you create your own reality.’ I’ve practiced Rainbow Healing with intent before, but now do more shamanic meditations and journeys. However, I digress.

I chanced upon this book by Lynne McTaggart titled ‘The Intention Experiment,’ in which she lists down various scientific experiments which might help to prove that our thoughts do affect things in this reality. She listed down experiments showing intention affecting the growth of barley.

So, I want to do my own little experiment. I’m going to use two kinds of seeds – basil and something else easy to grow (I haven’t decided what; need to raid my seed stash). For each type of seed, I’ll have possibly six pots – the first three pots will contain one seed each. The first pot will be sent positive intent; the second pot negative intent; the third will be the control pot.

For the last three pots, I intend to do the same thing, but try out sending my intent and storing them in crystals (two experiments in one shot, yay) – positive, negative, neutral.

I want to see how the plants grow.

Let’s hope I get off my lazy ass tomorrow to do it.

(I borrow my tag from her book)

On a slightly fun-er note, I made two terrariums. I hope the plants won’t rot and die or something.

Step One

Fill the bottom of the bottle with gravel to facilitate drainage.

Step Two

Add charcoal to help absorb impurities and poison(???).

Step Three

Add a layer of long-fiber sphagnum moss and a green netting over to prevent the potting mix (peat moss, in this case) from settling down too deeply.

Finished Products?

I sure hope they don’t die/rot on me! I’ve left the covers off to regulate the moisture in the jars now. So…
